"From the City to the Wilderness: The Story of The Survivalist Papers"

Hello, my name is Alexx Vazquez, and I am the founder of The Survivalist Papers. From a young age, I've had a deep passion for the outdoors, survival, and bushcraft. Growing up in poverty to middle-class in metropolitan areas like Havana, Madrid, and New Jersey taught me that necessity is indeed the mother of all inventions. Making do with little or nothing and still achieving and overcoming challenges became integral to my character. Despite living among millions of urbanites, I always yearned for the wilderness, as it was the place where I could put my skills to the test. It wasn't until I lived for a few months in the Missouri Ozarks that my love for the natural world deepened. I'm still a city boy at heart, but I'd rather be in the wide open areas of the country or wilderness.

Throughout my life, I found ways to explore and learn about the world around me, from history to philosophy. This led me to develop a passion for reading, and I purchased countless books and videos from now-defunct publishers such as Loompanics Incorporated, Paladin Press, among others. Some of the topics I delved into may be considered controversial, but I believe that having knowledge and skills in these areas is crucial in times of crisis and hardship.

It was this passion and love for life that inspired me to create The Survivalist Papers, a platform where people can find valuable information and connect with like-minded individuals. Books and education are essential tools for building a practical and useful skill set, and I believe that this goal should be universal. I welcome all visitors to The Survivalist Papers, not only as potential customers but also as potential friends in this ever-changing world of uncertainty and looming hardship.

Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I hope that you find the information and resources on this site to be helpful in your own quest for self-sufficiency and survival.
